Dripping water can cause property damage; bacteria and mold growth can cause illness. Hot surfaces and hot water This steam humidification system has extremely hot surfaces. Water in tanks, steam pipes, and dispersion assemblies can be as hot as 212 °F (100 °C). Discharged steam is not visible. Contact with hot surfaces, discharged hot water, or air into which steam has been discharged can cause severe personal injury.
