Installation
Video Inputs and Outputs
A HDMI Inputs 1 through 6 — Plug HDMI digital video (or DVI
with appropriate adapters) into these HDMI ports. See HDMI
connectors on page 9 to secure the connector to the board
with a LockIt HDMI Cable Lacing Bracket.
This section describes installation of the DTP CrossPoint matrix switchers,
including connections and features. Topics that are covered include:

XTP position — Select if the transmitting device is an Extron
XTP matrix switcher. The input is HDMI with embedded audio plus
RS-232 and IR.

DTP CrossPoint 84 IPCP SA Switcher Rear Panel
DTP position — Select if the transmitting device is an Extron DTP
device. The input is HDMI with embedded audio, analog audio,
RS-232 and IR, and remote power.
C TP Inputs 7 and 8 — Plug compatible Extron DTP or XTP
SIG
signals into these RJ-45 ports using STP cables. See TP
connectors on page 10 to wire the connectors.
ATTENTION:
• Remove system power before making all connections.
