Configuring Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) clear sntp client Mode Switch command, Read‐Write. Example This example shows how to enable SNTP in broadcast mode: Matrix(rw)->set sntp client broadcast clear sntp client Use this command to clear the SNTP client’s operational mode. Syntax clear sntp client Parameters None. Defaults None. Mode Switch command, Read‐Write. Example This example shows how to clear the SNTP client’s operational mode: Matrix(rw)->clear sntp client set sntp server Use this command to add a server from which the SNTP client will retrieve the current time when operating in unicast mode. Up to 10 servers can be set as SNTP servers. Syntax set sntp server ip-address [precedence] Parameters ip‐address Specifies the SNTP server’s IP address. precedence (Optional) Specifies this SNTP server’s precedence in relation to its peers. Valid values are 1 (highest) to 10 (lowest). Defaults If precedence is not specified, 1 will be applied. Mode Switch command, Read‐Write. 13-4 SNTP Configuration
