Positioning a Man Over Board mark If an emergency situation should occur, you can position a Man Over Board mark at the vessel’s current position by pressing the Home key followed by the MOB button on the Home page. When you activate the MOB function the following actions are automatically performed: • a MOB mark is positioned at the vessel’s position • the display switches to a zoomed chart panel, centered on vessel position • the system displays navigation information back to the MOB mark Multiple MOB marks are positioned by repeated presses on the MOB button. The vessel will continue to show navigation information to the initial MOB mark. Navigation to subsequent MOB marks will need to be done manually.
