Installing the silicone oil bottle
The oil bottle supplies silicone oil to the fixing assembly, which fixes the toner on
the paper.

Follow these guidelines when you install silicone oil:
• Use only the recommended silicone oil (see Appendix F of the User Guide for
information on ordering consumables).
• Do not operate the printer unless a silicone oil bottle is installed; otherwise, the
printer may be damaged.
• Do not incinerate the used silicone oil bottle.

INSTALL A SILICONE OIL BOTTLE :
1.
Read the caution label on the bottle, and peel off the seal from a new silicone oil
bottle.
