HPC CODE BOOK FACTS
The HPC Code Books offer over 8,000 pages of the most state-of-the-art, up-to-date information in the security
industry. The increasing use of identical codes by several manufacturers and foreign made products appearing
under standard U.S. labels, created the need for a more usable format of code series and manufacturer indexing.
The codes are indexed in alphabetical order by manufacturer and series. This method of dual indexing allows for
easier location of code series information. Also, each page either refers to or shows you complete key cutting
information. Proper key blanks by the original manufacturer, as well as the Silca, Ilco and Curtis comparatives are
displayed on each code page. The proper 1200CM Code Card number, Codemax depth and spacing data number
and pictorial Depth and Spacing reference page number are also presented. This information and the codes
themselves are printed with easy-to-read, clear-cut graphics by a laser printer. Finally, since these code books are
computer generated, annual updates containing newly produced code series can be issued and inserted quickly
and accurately in the form of Code Book Updates. Annual updates are available for General, Foreign, Padlock, and
Depth and Space Books.
The HPC Code Book System allows the beginner to enter the code cutting business in stages, providing the
opportunity to invest in codes for a particular need, such as Domestic Automotive, Padlock Pin Tumbler,
Combination Codes, General Locksmith Shop Codes, etc. For the advanced locksmith, major sets of books are
available that cover the spectrum of codes used around the world.
Only HPC, Inc. code books offer the total concept of code key cutting. Each page refers you to the proper key blank
and shows the proper cutting specification for code cutting with the 1200CM, Codemax or other recognized
micrometer machines. HPC Code Books contain usable current information often unavailable from other code
manufacturers. Unlike some books which advertise quantity, HPC's books represent quality.
Yearbooks

LEARNING CENTER LIBRARY
REFERENCE COLLECTION
The HPC Learning Center Library is a series of
technical manuals designed with the security professional in mind. All of these revised and expanded technical manuals are clearly written. They
feature meticulously detailed exploded view drawings (instead of the usual 2-dimensional black and
white photographs). A durable cover and wire or
plastic bindings (allowing the text book to be opened
flat) complement the convenient 6" x 9" format.
LRB-203 (LC-1)
Basic Picking describes in detail the theories and techniques for picking standard pin and wafer tumbler locks. All the necessary
tools (such as picks and tension wrenches) are not only listed, but fully illustrated for convenient cross-reference.

Basic Tubular Picking covers the basic theories and procedures necessary for compromising the more fundamental types of tubular
