266 Chapter 17: Input Parameters 17.2.2.1 Text Box Used for data type String, Number or Datetime, a Text Box allows a user to key in a value (see Figure 17-5). Figure 17-5 The Parameter Value Definition window (see Figure 17-6), accessed by clicking “Define” on the Parameter Definition window, allows you to set a maximum length for the input text as well as to turn on ‘Refresh On Change’. If ‘Refresh on Change’ is selected, the ‘Update’ button will be removed from the chart and the update action will trigger when a user enters a value and hits Enter while in the Text Box or when the Text Box loses focus.
