VDS PROFI is a visualisation software of the Virtual Design-Studio from EGGER – the ideal addition to our current tools
and samples. You can quickly visualise decors in realistic room situations. Design entire rooms including flooring, walls,
ceilings and doors. You can not only see the effect of a material on a large surface area, but can also obtain an overall
impression of the ambience.

ROOM IMAGES FOR ALL LIVING SITUATIONS
There are more than 80 room images from private and public application areas available for you in the
library. That is also where you save your own projects – clearly arranged and easily accessible.
A large selection of decors as well as room images from all relevant areas of interior design provides you with the necessary design freedom.
ALL DECORS IN PREMIUM QUALITY
Under the tabs FURNITURE, FLOORING and WALL you will find all the collections from EGGER, as well as further manufacturers
in high resolution quality. These are automatically updated – so you will always be up-to-date with your consulting.
MULTI-PURPOSE APPLICATIONS
In case you would like to use EGGER decors in other drawing programmes, you can export the desired materials with the
My Material Manager.
FAST ACCESS
Use certain decors particularly often? Or you would like to prepare yourself for your next customer meeting with a
pre-selection of materials? With the favourites function you can prepare decor lists and can thereby prevent having to
search for a decor in the collections.

VDS PROFI is an open system. If you would like to
work with further materials or catalogues, you can
simply import them with our “import catalogue”
function.

PRINTING AND SAVING
The PDF print function creates highquality consulting documents with
your company logo. When you are
finished save your work in a project
folder.
GROUPING
You design all the surfaces of an object
with only one click of the mouse. If you
should wish to cover individual surfaces
with other decors, you can change to
individual assignment mode.
ROTATING
You can adjust the orientation of the
decor and with flooring also the type
of installation.

YOUR OWN PROJECTS IN VDS PROFI
There is hardly any better reference than your own successes. Therefore VDS PROFI offers you different
ways to present your own projects and to work with them.
IMPORTING PHOTOS
If you would like to use your own photos in
VDS PROFI, load them in the PHOTOstudio.
There you will find numerous tools for image
processing. You will find suggestions for this
on our web site under www.egger.com/vds.
IMPORT SKP FILES
The import of your own projects in the format skp is also a very practical feature. This format is generated, for
example, by the free CAD software Google SketchUp. Additionally, you can download finished projects for free
in the Google 3D gallery. VDS PROFI recognises the individual surfaces automatically in skp-files – you can
start designing right away.

In the everyday interior design work interfaces are a challenge. Mistakes easily creep in when costs are calculated
or fabrication lists are prepared according to drawings that were created with other programmes. It is different with
the ROOMDESIGNER: with this planning software you can not only construct, calculate and present a project. You
can at the same time order the matching pre-fabricated furniture components according to your design as of one
single piece – a good possibility to lessen work peaks or to precisely manufacture complicated CNC designs.

THE DIGITAL PRINT: YOUR VERY PERSONAL DECOR
Separate yourself from the masses and impart your projects with a personal touch. With VDS PROFI
DIGITAL PRINT you design decors just as you want them. Our templates support you in this. To adjust
the colour and scaling you can select between a 2-D view and different room situations. Through this
it is possible to optimally assess details as well as the overall impression.

With the PDF print function you create your personal ordering documents. Make sure that you have a
connection to the Internet because only through this is it possible to generate your individual decor
number. With this decor number you order samples directly from EGGER or can have an offer prepared
for you by your specialist board dealer. As of a minimum order quantity of 260 m² (2799 square feet) we
supply your idea as a EURODEKOR® melamine faced board, laminate, lightweight or acoustic board.
To adjust the colour settings of your screen we have prepared a colour card for you.

THE SHOW
It rarely lacks in creative ideas for the presentation of your work – what is mainly missing is the time
to implement them. With VDS PROFI you get it done casually as it were. In the category SHOW you
effortlessly prepare photo collages, slide shows and project overviews. You can load photos, projects,
decors and arrange them freely on the screen or sort through them with the compare function. You can
immediately export your work as .pdf, use it as a background image or play it as a slide show.
