Section Cuts with Path Plots
Result variations along a section cut can also be studied by defining a node path along the cut. This
helps engineers to assess the variation of a result along a user specified path on a cut section, as an
example thickness variation in a stamping process. Measures can be defined on the nodes of a crosssection enabling a deeper analysis of the deformation of the section. Typical applications of measuring
values on the cross section include plotting the position or distance between nodes on the crosssection, as measuring the intrusion.
Isosurface on Parts
Isosurface can be applied on selected parts, as an example on fluid elements, while visualization the
structural components in full. For ditching simulation or fuel tank sloshing modeled with multiple fluids,
the isosurface generates the fluid boundaries without influencing the structural components.
