4.2.2 Search for all transactions by First Name occurring on a
specific date
In this example, you will learn how to search for all transactions by First Name
occurring on a specific date. For example, if you want to search for all first names that
contain the letters BO whose purchase amount was authorised on July 20, 2004, you
would follow the steps below:

Selection: Click on the arrow to the right of the Selection box and scroll down the list
to select First Name.
Condition: In the Condition box, select is similar to from the drop down list. This
permits you to search for all first names containing the letters BO.
Value: Enter the letters BO in the Value box.
 The condition must be set to “is similar to”, otherwise if set to
“is equal to”, the search will produce all “BO” first names.
Your screen should now resemble Figure 4.5 above.
