Here is what to rem em ber when filling out the fields:
PC font
Type the exact nam e of the font. That is the text found e.g. when installing
it in InterForm 400. This should be the nam e of the norm al font if you
com bine both a nornal and a bold font (or condensed).
SCS font
Type an even font num ber, that is not yet used. If you get an error
'Duplicate record key in m em ber FNTCFGL1.' then you are trying to use a
font num ber, that is already used.
Font type
Type either 0=Fixed or 1=Proportional. The font type can be found as one
of the attributes of the soft font after it have been installed in InterForm 400 see above.
PCL type face Use the sam e typeface as you have used in InterForm 400.
Stroke weight
- normal
Specify the stroke weight of norm al font. You can find this value as one of
the attributes of the soft font in InterForm 400. This would norm ally be '0'.
Stroke weight
- bold
If you com bine the norm al font with a bold font, then you need to state the
stroke weight of the bold font here. The value can be found as one of the
attributes of the soft font in InterForm 400. This refers to a bold version of the
soft font.
Condensed font
w eight
This is actually the value referred to as the style in InterForm 400. You can
see the value as an attribute of the soft font in InterForm 400. This will
norm ally be '4'.
Default for
font type
If this font is to be the default font for one of the listed font types you can
state it here. There can be only one font num ber with each of the font types.
This field is norm ally blank.
Special sym bol
set
Norm ally you would use the sym bol set (ASCII850) of the m erge in
InterForm 400. Leave the field blank to use ASCII850 or type a special
sym bol set to be used instead.
