MEMORY: Full Throttle requires at least 4.5 MB of
memory to run. In order to run it on some 8MB s y stems, y ou
may need to turn of f a number of extensions and/or
control panels.
If y ou are running Sy stem 7.5 or later: Use the Extensions Manager control panel that shipped with y our s y stem. It is suggested that y ou turn off everything that
isn't vital and restart before running Full Throttle.
To do this convenient l y , first save y our current configuration b y choosing Save Set ••• from the pop-up menu
above the list. Name

before y ou run Full Thrott Ie, simply choose y our Full
Throttle set from the pop-up menu in Extensions Manager
and restart y our s y stem. To return to y our usual setup,
choose "Standard" from the pop-up menu and restart
again.
If y ou are running a Sy stem version prior to 7.5, y ou
can do exactly the same thing with the Extensions Manager control panel that y ou copied to y our Sy stem Folder
when y ou installed Full Thrott Ie. You can use the pop-up
menu below the extension list to save extension sets,
just as described above. However, properly enabling a
set with this version of Extensions Manager involves
t wo st eps. First, turn off everything b y clicking the
"All Of f" button. Then, enable the set you want b y
selecting "Enable Set" from the pop-up menu and- while
still holding down the mouse button -moving the mouse
over the name of the set y ou wish to turn on. When y ou've
finished, restart your s y stem to enable the set of
extensions you have chosen.
INCREASING MEMORY PARTITION/MEMORY CACHE
I f you have MORE THAN 8 MB of RAM, then you may want to
increase your memory partition and/or memory cache in
order to enhance performance of Full Throttle on y our
machine.
1) To increase the memory partition, copy the Full
Throttle icon to y our hard drive, then select the icon
and choose Get Info from the File Menu. You will then see
a window in which y ou may increase the pre f erred memory
size. Feel f ree to experiment with this partition to
find the optimum setting for your conf iguration.
2) To increase the memory cache, simply open the memor y control panel in y our Sy stem Folder and increase the
preferred cache. Again, feel free to experiment with
this cache to find the best setting f or y our configuration. Be sure to reset y our memory cache to the preferred setting when y ou have finished play ing the game.
Be sure to read the READ ME. There is a lot of lastminute information in this file that will help y ou get
the most enj o yment out of Full Thrott Ie.
