Product Overview
Each fuzzy application is represented by an instance data block which has to
be created for the specific application. When you use the configuration tool,
this instance data block is created implicitly for you. This means you only
have to define the inputs and outputs, the membership functions, and the set
of rules in the editing windows of the user interface to complete the
information for a specific application.
The algorithms for a particular fuzzy application are calculated in the
processor of the S7 programmable controller (PLC) after an absolute call by
the user program or cyclically in time-driven intervals. The results of the
calculation (measured and manipulated variables) are stored in the respective
instance data block or passed to the process I/O.
