Select the device you wish to use from the drop-down list. If there exists a user-created kernel in addition
to the default path, select ‘Other…’ to specify the kernel file (.fcf).
It is possible to have more than one kernel option displayed, and double clicking on a kernel will open an
optional “readme.txt” file that has information about the kernel (such as the device, version number and
the compilers it was created with).

Select a port and baud rate from the drop-down lists, then click the ‘Next’ button. In addition to the serial
ports, there is also an option to use USB.
Note
For the serial port baud rate, refer to the hardware manual and select a rate where the variance is within
3% for the clock frequency used.
