Architecture of HarnesSys Classic application
The major components of this architecture (See Figure 1 ) are:
1. The Oracle Database Server
1. The HarnesSys Classic software is currently running on Unix platforms.
HarnesSys is made of several interactive and batch modules. The interactive
modules are built upon OSF/Motif and upon Oracle Forms.
HarnesSys repository includes an Oracle database and additional Unix files.
HarnesSys software and repository files must be local on the user worksta- tion, or
NFS-mounted. HarnesSys accesses the database via SQL*Net.
