3. Valve outlet
Note: be very careful in order to differentiate inlet from outlet. These two are not
interchangeable, to guarantee proper functionality.
 Connecting the two-way non rebreathing valve to the mask
Depending on the turbine used (new one or old one), the following schemes apply:

Please be careful to firmly connect all the parts.
Close the sampling line connector on the reader (turbine or optoelectronic reader) by means of the little plug attached to
the 2-way valve.

Fix the mask as illustrated in the picture below. Adjust the elastic bands on the head cap as necessary to eliminate
possible leaks and create a tight seal around the subject’s face.
