DF312, the paper takes the double-side original path when making a single-side copy and then jams at position 12.
Solution
CAUSE: The front lever on the flapper guide (p/n 120A45110) has shifted on the shaft resulting in the guide being partially actuated when the solenoid is not
energized.
SOLUTION: Replace the guide. As a temporary solution, reposition the lever and glue it onto the shaft with a drop of glue.

Solution
CAUSE: Dirty sensors on the TCSB or a failed TCSB.
SOLUTION: Clean the two sensors on the TCSB and do the Dmax and gamma adjustments again before replacing the TCSB (p/n 25SA-9100). This part is
listed in the Parts Catalog as the toner control print panel unit instead of the toner control sensor board.
To perform Dmax level correction and Gamma correction level, perform the following:
1. Access the 36 mode (power the machine ON while holding the 3 and 6 keys).
2. Press [1. Process Adjust].
3. Press [6. Max Density + Gamma Adjust].
4. When the adjustment is complete, power the machine OFF/ON.

Description
PU108, intermittently holes are punched in both the lead and trail edge of a copy.
Solution
CAUSE: Dirty or failed punch clutch (MC1).
SOLUTION: To remove the punch clutch (MC1), perform the following:
1. Power the copier OFF.
2. Remove the punch unit.
3. Remove the punch motor (M4) by removing two (2) screws.
4. Cut the three (3) wire harness bands and disconnect the punch clutch relay connector (CN52).
5. Remove the punch clutch by removing the retaining ring.
6. Clean or replace the punch clutch (p/n 13NKK0010) as necessary.

Solution
CAUSE: The optics cooling fan (FM2) has failed.
SOLUTION: To check the optics cooling fan (FM2), perform the following:
1. Power the copier OFF.
2. Access the 47 mode (power the copier ON, while pressing the 4 and 7 keys), output code 42, P-02-P.
3. Press the START key. The optics cooling fan (FM2), which is located on the upper exit side of the machine, should rotate. If, the optics cooling fan (FM2)
fails to rotate confirm the presence of 24V DC at FM2 drive CN83-A1 of the main CB, which supplies 24V DC to the optics cooling fan (FM2) to initiate
rotation.
4. Replace the optics cooling fan (FM2) (p/n 55TA80550) as necessary.
