A.3 – Using the Firewall The fire A.3.1 – Commands • NFU • NFO • NFF • NFI • NFC • NFA A.3.2 – Syntax • Push a rule onto the end of the rule list: NFU<rule> • Remove (return) the last rule: NFO • Remove (flush) all rules: NFF • Index: NFI<n> • Read or replace a rule by its index number: NFI<n><rule> • Return (count) the total number of rules: NFC • Copy (apply) the staging set to the current set: NFA Note: The NFU command is the same as the NFI command where the index is the maximum index plus one. A.4 – Precautions Network services can be complex in nature and hence difficult to describe in a firewall rule set. This section describes some network services that you should be aware of when editing the PTUs firewall. A.4.1 – HTTP HTTP runs on TCP port 80. No web access is possible without allowing incoming connections on this port. An "allow HTTP" rule would be PAT80. 74
