Soft Stop Mode
1) RELAY outputs. In SOFT STOP mode,
the run contact is open. The start/run and
main contactor are closed. The output
voltage is reduced at the ratedetermined
by the stop time parameter. (soft stop)
a) If the stop time is zero, the starter
immediately enters the OFF mode.
b) As the output voltage approaches
zero, the starter enters OFF mode.
2) PROTECTION inputs.
a) If the stop time is zero, the starter
immediately enters the OFF mode.
b) If the thermistor input is connected to
a circuit of resistance greater than2kohm, the starter will enter the TRIP
mode.
c) If the thermal model exceeds 1.05, the
starter will enter the trip mode.
d) If the Phase Imbalance protection
operates, the starter will enter the trip
mode.
e) As the output voltage approaches
zero, the starter enters OFF mode.
3) CONTROL inputs. In the SOFT STOP
mode, the starter microcomputer monitors
the START, STOP and RESET.
In SOFT STOP mode, the output voltage
is reduced at the rate determined by thestop time parameter. (soft stop)
a) If the stop time parameter is zero, the
starter immediately enters the OFF
mode.
b) If both the STOP and the RESET are
open, the starter will immediately stop
and enter the OFF mode.
c) If the START and STOP are closed,
the starter enters the START mode.
d) As the output voltage approaches
zero, the starter enters OFF mode.
