Setup 11.3.8: Gravity Page If the gravity mode is on, the cursor snaps to elements that are characteristic of the object’s shape, such as vertices, midpoints, and centers. The setup panel, Gravity, provides the following controls: • • • Gravity mode On: Turn the gravity on and off. Attracting elements: Select snappable shape elements (wire centerline, wire end, wire joint, midpoint, edge, vertex, box/ellipse center, etc.). Gravity distance: Set the radius within which the gravity acts. Gravity radius may be set in the following measurement units: • • • pixels microns nanometers Gravity acts only for the following tools: • • • • • • void tool create box, region, wire, ellipse, donut move, duplicate, modify paste ruler create instance Gravity acts only for editing tools and rulers. These tools are: • • • • • • Simucad create objects (box, region, wire, ellipse, donut, instance etc) move, duplicate modify, stretch cut-by-line, clip in/out paste ruler 11-13
