Using EduWeb 2004
The Playground Duty Page:
The EduWeb 2004 school intranet includes a template for creating a
playground duty roster. This template is just a guide and can be
tailored as required. By default, six areas of your school are catered
for. Simply edit the webpage with your favourite web editor and
change the area names to those that apply in your school. Then add
the teacher names to the appropriate timeslots, save the changes,
exit the editor and refresh your browser. Your new playground duty roster is ready to go.
If your school has a rotating roster covering Weeks A and B, simply copy the entire table and
paste it below the original table and label the two tables as week A and week B. You can print
the playground duty roster from your browser. There is a Help button at the top right offering
advice. A sample Playground Duty Roster, as created by EduWeb 2004 is shown below:
The K-6 Continuum Page:
Many thanks to Therese Coogan for her work in developing the K-6
Continuum page.
This set of pages provides a useful scaffold together with applicable
ICT projects to support the curriculum from K-6. Not only are there
links to relevant student projects which can be incorporated into the
student section of EduWeb, there are also skill set definitions for
each aspect of ICT, from Word Processing through Spreadsheet, Database, Graphics,
Multimedia, Internet & E-mail. Each of these skill sets also define at which stage it is
applicable to teach/integrate each skill. All of these resources can be tailored for your own
situation and requirements. The K-6 Continuum page is not shown in this documentation.
