Back to contents LINE CLIP ACTIVE LOW SIG DRIVE PERIMETER MASTER SLAVE STATUS POWER In Adjustment mode the STATUS LED will flash. 4 Contacta | HLD7 Basic Adjustment mode MIC CLIP ACTIVE PHTM LINE CLIP ACTIVE LOW SIG DRIVE PERIMETER MASTER SLAVE STATUS POWER While in Adjustment mode While in Adjustment mode While in Adjustment mode Pressing the MIC + or - will adjust the MIC input gain, adjustments are in 1dB steps. Pressing the LINE + or - will adjust the LINE input gain, adjustments are in 1dB steps. Pressing the Drive + or - will adjust the Drive output by 1dB steps. LEDs show the MIC’s level after fader. LEDs show the LINE level after fader. If input is low the LOW SIG LED will illuminate. LEDs show the DRIVE level in approx 0.5A increments. Signal Level for inputs should be set to have peak signal level occasionally illuminating first amber LED. Back to contents DRIVE PERIMETER MASTER SLAVE STATUS POWER 6 Contacta | HLD7 Engineers’ mode (PAGE 1) Driver Operation Selection MIC LINE CLIP ACTIVE PHTM CLIP ACTIVE LOW SIG DRIVE PERIMETER MASTER SLAVE STATUS POWER While in Engineers’ mode While in Engineers’ mode While in Engineers’ mode There are 6 PAGES of settings, each PAGE is identified by a flashing MIC LED, PAGE 1 is LED 1, Page 2 is LED 2 etc. PAGE1 Pressing the LINE + or buttons selects driver operation, Perimeter, MASTER or SLAVE. When you are ready to move onto the next PAGE press the DRIVE + button. Always select the driver operation mode before installing the driver in its rack mount bracket. Status LED will flash. Press DRIVE + to increase level. Press DRIVE - to reduce level. Press DRIVE + and - together when adjustment complete. PAGE 2 settings are for the High Frequency compensation, adjustments can be made by pressing the LINE + or - buttons. When you are ready to move onto the next PAGE press the DRIVE + button. There are 6dB of HF compensation adjustment possible. This adjustment is required to compensate for loss of high frequencies due to the presence of metal within the proximity of the loop. PAGE 3 settings are for the Microphone Phantom power selection. When you are ready to move onto the next PAGE press the DRIVE + button. Pressing the LINE + button turns the phantom power on, pressing the LINE - button turns phantom power off. To exit Engineers’ mode press the DRIVE - button.
