Dynamic DNS (Router mode)
Allows you to host a ser ver (W eb, FTP , Game Se rver, etc. ) using a domain name
that you h ave p urchased with your
dynamically assigned IP a ddress. Most
broadband In ternet Se rvice Pr oviders a ssign d ynamic ( changing) IP a ddresses.
When y ou use a Dy namic DNS service prov ider, y our f riends can enter y our h ost
name to connect to your server, no matter what your IP address is.

Enable Dynamic DNS: Place a check in this box to enable the DDNS feature.

Service Address: S elect a DD NS service provide r from the d rop-down list.
DynDNS is a free service while TZO offers a 30 day free trial.

Host Name: Specify the website URL.
•
User Name: Specify the user name for the DDNS service.
•
Password: Specify the password for the DDNS service and verify it once again
in the next field.
