Terminology
Firmware
Describes the system software for the 64 bit and H8 range including the fonts.
H8
The H8 processor controls the print head, sensors and motors. The
H8 system is a part of the firmware which is responsible for the H8 processor.
64 bit
The 64 bit processor controls the internal and external data flows via the
interfaces and manages the main memory. The 64 bit system is the part of
the firmware, which is responsible for the 64 bit processor
