Ethernet Switches
The Ethernet switches allow the control desk computer(s), the scorer computers, and the Display
Controllers to connect together in a high speed network. The switches provides two way communication
(full duplex) so the computers can send and receive data at the same time. The switches also provide
each of it outputs (ports) dedicated bandwidth to increase the efficiency of the network. Refer to the
figures titled Ethernet Switch Cabling, Netgear ProSafe GS108, and Netgear ProSafe Plus JFS524E
