•
Wakes up (WAKEUP interval) or
•
Has moved outside the geo-fence or
•
Has moved more than the DIST distance
Example 3:
1234∆REPORT∆WE
This example will make the EPS2 send a position report to the live tracking server when it:
•
Wakes up (WAKEUP interval) or
•
Has moved outside the geo-fence or
•
Continues to be outside the geo-fence area AND is in motion
This example is very useful to secure assets that are allowed to move inside a given area and to have
frequent position reports if it moves outside the allowed area and is in motion. If the tracker does not move
outside the allowed area it only will send reports with the WAKEUP intervals. This is a battery saving
configuration.
SMS:
1234 SMS [TRIGGERS]
The SMS command is used to configure when the EPS2 should send a SMS to the user(s). This command
works like the REPORT command but it sends the information by SMS instead of GPRS.
The trigger signals are the same as for the REPORT command.
Example: You wish to receive a SMS if the tracker leaves the geo-fence or if there is a temperature alarm or
if the battery level is to low:
1234∆SMS∆FTB
Note – Check the SMSTYPE command for the various presentation of position in SMS.
