12.2.2. Groups and Rights Examples
Here are some simplified examples of how User Groups are applied to folders within the account. The
Account Administrator creates a few User Groups and Users within the account:

In these examples, we will show how each of the above user‟s rights are assessed for a given folder
with group rights based on the above.

A folder “Drawings” has access granted for “ReadOnly”, “ReadWrite” and “Audit” groups.

In this example, David has some rights under his membership of the “Audit” group, but does not have
the extended rights from the “Full” group because that group has not been given access to this folder.
