When editing a family and you want to add a spouse or child one of the two options
is to add a “New Individual” instead of selecting an existing one. Tap this button to
create a new person, which will then show the edit individual view.
Adding Family Groups
New family groups can be added by tapping the Families icon in the bottom bar. If
you now look at the top right of the screen you should see a button containing a “+”.
Tap that button to add a new family.
You can now enter the details for the new family as described in the “Editing
