MPI Debugging Tips and Tools MPI Debugging Tips and Tools TotalView provides specific tools to view MPI program status, including rank and message queues. This section discusses these display tools as well as any other information specific to an MPI program. MPI Display Tools MPI Rank Display The Processes/Ranks Tab at the bottom of the Process Window displays the status of each rank. For example, in Figure 217, six ranks are at a breakpoint, one is running, and one is stopped.
