8.1.2 Performance of Built-in High-speed Counter Number of Channel • There are six channels for the built-in high-speed counter • The channel number allocated for the high-speed counter will change depending on the function being used. Counting range • K-2, 147, 483, 648 to K+2, 147, 483, 647 (Coded 32-bit binary) • The built-in high-speed counter is a ring counter. Consequently, if the counted value exceeds the maximum value, it returns to the minimum value. Similarly, if the counted value drops below the minimum value, it goes back to the maximum value and continues counting from there. 8-3
