Start / Stop a Node
•
When a Node is started, you can not modify its Name, port number, nor activate or
deactivate a Serial Number. If you intend to do any of these, please refer to the chapter
that explains how to do that in Node Settings and License tab.
All settings other then Node name, port number and License tab can only be modified when a
Node is running.
To start one Node, simply click on the appropriate checkbox in the “On” column of the Node List
section (If you can’t click on it, or that it doesn’t have any effect, check that the System Preference
Pane is Unlocked):
When a Node starts, the red LED turns orange and its status is “Starting Up...”
When a Node is running, the orange LED turns green and its status is “Running”
Once a Node is started (and that the OnTheAir Node System Preferences Pane is Unlocked), you
will be able to change its settings.
If a Node has a (DEMO) next to the status “Running”, it meand it runs in DEMO mode, and thus
will overlay a DEMO watermark on the output and only show 100 items in its media folders.
