Creating a Sequence Template
The sequence template (.sld file) is a generic sequence to be run for the entire assay. The
sequence template must correspond to the Excel template. You create the sequence template
in the Xcalibur Home Page window – Sequence Setup view. See the Xcalibur Help for details
on how to create the sequence in the Sequence Setup view.
The sequence template specifies the following:
• Sample injection type
• Injection volume used for each sample
• Arrangement of sample types (standards, QCs, blanks, and unknowns)
