When having connected to a video channel as described in section
“Connecting to a Video Channel” on page 2-11 and e.g. selected a project, you can begin working with the software. Depending on the user
rights you have logged in with, different functions are accessible.
This chapter provides you with basic information about the VENICE client software. In addition to the information how to start and exit the
program, it gives you a detailed reference for the program interface, all
its tabs and menus. The items of the different tabs will be outlined,
when necessary separately, for every operation mode and state.
Not all of the buttons and options described in this chapter are
available for all user levels. Whenever you try to make use of a
feature you have not been given access rights to, the login window will open up and prompt you to enter the password of the
respective user level.
