Bluetooth Features ACK Timeout ACK Timeout configures a duration, selectable in 200-millisecond increments, for the scanner to wait for the Base Station to accept the data and respond with an ACK (acknowledge) or NAK (when data is in error). Upon expiration of the timeout, the scanner will emit a transmission error beep and return to its normal operating mode. START/END MODE BAR CODE Sets the ACK Timeout using a decimal value from 000 to 255. Settings are in 200 millisecond increments. A setting of 000 disables the timeout. To configure this feature, scan the “START/END” bar code above to place the unit in Programming Mode, then the “Set ACK Timeout,” followed by the three digits (zero padded) from the Alphanumeric table in Appendix C, Alpha-Numeric Pad representing your setting. Exit programming mode by scanning the “START/END” bar code above.
