General Configuration Command Set Configuring Enterasys and Cisco Discovery Protocols This example shows how to disable Enterasys Discovery Protocol for Fast Ethernet expansion module 2, port 1: Matrix>set cdp disable fe.2.1 3.2.6.3 set cdp interval Use this command to set the message interval frequency of the Enterasys Discovery Protocol. set cdp interval frequency Syntax Description frequency Specifies the transmit frequency of Enterasys Discovery Protocol messages in seconds.Valid values are from 5 to 900. Command Defaults None. Command Type Switch command. Command Mode Read-Write.
