The bits are set high (value of 1) when its adapter is currently issuing that command, and set low when its adapter is not issuing that command. Ownership falls into two categories; Exclusive Only one adapter at a time can issue the command and only one bit in the parameter will be high. For example, it is not allowable to have one Adapter command the drive to run in the forward direction while another Adapter is issuing a command to make the drive run in reverse. Direction Control, therefore, is exclusive ownership. Rockwell Automation Publication PFLEX-RM001H-EN-P - June 2013 125
