Integrated Modelling Methodology – Collection of feedback

Positive Experiences:
[ADD your comments here]
We did not use a tool for terminology extraction, we extracted the knowledge from
the digital resource intellectually. We analysed the structure of the resources and
gathered a number of candidate domain concepts. It was not difficult, but it took a lot
of time.
Negative Experiences:

This step took a lot of time.
Please estimate your modeling (coaching) efforts at this stage in terms of hours
spent to perform the task:

60 hours
Do you think that the outcome produced in this step fulfilled the goals of the step in a
satisfiable manner ? [Please give reasons for your answer]
We gathered many new domain concepts within this task. Because of reading and
concerning with the resources we could gather many information about Information
and Consulting on Industrial Property Rights.
Please state the main differences (if any) between performing this step this year and
last year:
No difference, we used the same methods. We did not use the term extraction tool due
to poor experiences with this tool last year.
3. Step 1b: Knowledge elicitation from Domain Experts
(Des)
The goal of this sub-step is to elicit knowledge directly from the DEs. The desired
output is a refined task list, and an extensive list of candidate domain concepts.
Feedback:
Please state positive and negative experiences of the IMM for this step in the space
below. Use as much space as you need.
Some questions to keep in mind while providing the feedback:
− Were the objectives clear?
− Were the tools adequate?
− Did the domain experts coincide with the person performing the modeling?
− What where the main difficulties encountered in this stage?
