If the number is in the phone book of the EXPLORER 527, you can use the Short Dial number, which is found in the first column of the phone book in the web interface. See Short dial on page 67. Simply dial 0 <Short Dial> #. Example: • To call entry number 4 in the phone book, dial 04 #. Manual Dial. To make a call, dial 00 <country code> <phone number> #. Example: To call Thrane & Thrane in Denmark (+45 39558800), dial 00 45 39558800 # If there was an error establishing the connection, the web interface and the display of the EXPLORER 527 show an error message. Refer to the Troubleshooting Guide on page 113. Receiving a call To be able to receive a call, the phone must be connected to the relevant interface on the EXPLORER 527. By default, all devices connected to the Phone/Fax interface will ring when one of the mobile subscriber numbers is called. Note, however, that this depends on the call type settings. Refer to Selecting the incoming call type on page 46. Information of missed calls is stored in the call log of the EXPLORER 527. You can view the call log with the display menu system or the web interface. See Calls menu on page 34 or Viewing the lists of calls on page 69. TT 98-123789-D Using a phone or fax machine 49
