132 FINAL DRAFT Format Menu Dual Dialogue Used to take any two consecutive speeches and place them next to each other in a special side-byside dialogue format. To place two speeches side by side: 1.Type in both speeches, one after the other. For example: 2. Place the insertion point in the first character. 3. Choose Format > Dual Dialogue. Both speeches are now placed next to each other, starting on the same line. NOTE NOTE: Dual Dialogue text cannot be edited directly. To edit Dual Dialogue text or to revert to normal, single column format: 1. Select all the Dual Dialogue text. - or Double-click the Dual Dialogue. 2. Choose Format > Dual Dialogue. The text will revert to the original format. After editing the text of either or both of the speeches: 1. Place the insertion point in the first character. 2. Choose Format > Dual Dialogue to place the dialogues side by side.
