Using the Website
Browser Requirements
SKLDoc.com works with most web browsers. SKLDoc works best with Firefox 1.5 or higher but also
works with Internet Explorer 6 or higher.

Note Regarding the Map Request Page: To quicken response time on this page, we recommend
the use of the web browser ‘Firefox’. Firefox works great on uploading and maneuvering
through the long list of plats available to view by County on this page. Firefox is a FREE
download at http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/features. Some slowness may occur when
using Internet Explorer 9. You may choose to use Firefox as your primary web browser OR use it
only when you are on www.SKLDoc.com.

Note Regarding Browsing Images: To see images on-screen, you’ll need a TIFF image viewer
plug-in. We recommend AlternaTIFF. It is a FREE download at http://www.alternatiff.com. It is
one of the free tiff image viewers that the US Patent and Trademark Office provides on their
site. Many people have QuickTime installed, but this does not work well as an image viewer.
You may see a piece of the image, too large to view conveniently on your screen.
