Chapter 2
INSTALLATION
The ClockComm Communications module runs on a standard PC (the “host
PC”), and can operate either independently, or together with a Time &
Attendance application (such as OnTime Pro), that enables more sophisticated
analysis and use of the gathered information.
2.1.
INSTALLATION ON THE HOST PC
Insert the ClockComm installation CD into the host PC CD-ROM drive. The
ClockComm installation process begins automatically.
Follow instructions step by step as presented to you by the Installation Program.
When installation is complete, go to Windows Desktop and double-click the
ClockComm
icon:
The Connections & Configuration window appears (see Figure 2-1).

NOTE
If the ClockComm application is used together with the OnTimePro, it can also be accessed through the
OnTimePro setup screens. For more information see the OnTimePro user manual.
