RezStream Booking Engine User’s Guide
LETTERS
Two confirmation letters can be configured in the RezStream Booking Engine, a reservation
confirmation letter and a reservation request letter. Both letters are configured under the Property
> Letters tab.
Action Item
Write your version of a reservation confirmation and reservation request letter.
Having copies of these letters will make it easier to configure them in the
RezStream Booking Engine. In addition to writing text for the letters, make notes
of where you would like to insert reservation information. For example, letters
can be configured so that a guest’s first name is displayed in the letter’s header.
BOOKING ENGINE SETTINGS
The information compiled in each section of the Booking Engine Settings tab defines how the
RezStream Booking Engine reacts when an Internet guest makes an online booking. These
sections are listed below and a brief description of what information should be organized for each
follows.

The Property > Booking Engine Settings > Guest Payment Settings tab allows you to

When an online payment is rejected, what should happen?
a. The reservation is processed as a “request.”
b. The reservation is still processed as a confirmed booking.
c. The reservation is NOT processed and a contact at the
property receives an email.
d. The guest is not allowed to continue until a valid form of
payment is entered.
Make a list of the accepted forms of online payments at your property.
Create an online booking deposit policy. Will your property require:
