PIX 16 Spare parts 16.1 Spare part Designates an element which is intended to replace an appropriate element in order to restore the required original function. These parts may only be replaced by a skilled person who has been trained accordingly. For scheduled replacement Designation Replacement Levels every 1 2 3 These are wear parts which have been developed for replacement once a specified utilization period has expired. For non-scheduled replacement Designation Designates spare parts which are replaced according to specific operating conditions. Application: Parts which are replaced in case of corrective maintenance outside of the preventive maintenance intervals. For replacement in exceptional cases Designates the individual or assembled parts whose anticipated service life is at least as long as that of the switchgear.
