SEQWEB ORGANIZATION The SeqWeb page is organized into several frames. Managers The upper left frame controls the information that appears below it in the frame on the lower left. The Managers frame is shown selected in the image. This controls access to the Sequence Manager, the Job Manager, Results Manager and Preferences. Preferences This is where you can change your password. You can also change the format in which files are saved should you choose to save any files to your local computer. Clicking on the PREFERENCES icon opens a new window, shown below. 73 Sequence Manager The Sequence Manager allows you to add new sequences to your projects (discussed below). You can add sequences from local copies of the major sequence databases, or from sequences obtained elsewhere (including your own sequencing projects). These can be placed into SeqWeb through the clipboard function of 74
