Stations tab (at the top of the Active List window). The Active list window will be refreshed, as shown below. As you can see from the information displayed in the stations list, there are 4 stations in total (4 wells), each with a unique ID, name, and spatial location. For this database, 7 samples were collected from each station (well), to produce a total of 28 samples. A single sample was collected annually from each station from 1992 until 1998. The last sample (OW-4-98) was duplicated in the field (another sample taken at the same date, time, and place), so both samples were assigned the same Duplicate_ID to connect them to each other. The OW-4-98 sample was also cloned in the program to produce a blank sample, bringing the total number of samples to 30. It should be noted that this sample information has been fabricated for the purpose of this demonstration. Customizing the Active Sample List The information displayed in the active list window can be easily customized to your preferences. You may add/remove columns, and specify the sorting options. To do so: Samples tab (at the top of the Active List window). View from the main menu and then select Options 22
