SECTION 7 System Settings Using BUSY Signals (Error Method) The BUSY signal is a control signal used to show that the V530-R160 is busy processing. The ON/OFF timing of this BUSY signal is monitored at the host device to time communications. The handling of the BUSY signal can be changed to create a smoother system. n Input in the BUSY Status While reading processing is in progress (while the BUSY signal is ON), the controller will not read image data even if TRIG A is input. Set whether or not the ERR signal is turned ON as notification that the host has not accepted a trigger. Selection Details ERR ON* When a TRIG A is input during processing (while the BUSY signal is ON), the ERR signal turns ON and reading is not performed. The ERR signal will turn OFF when the next TRIG A is input at the correct timing. OFF The ERR signal will not turn ON even if the TRIG A is input during processing. Reading will not be performed. The asterisk (*) indicates the default setting. The BUSY signal turns OFF when the reading has been completed. TRIG A Image input Reading Display OFF BUSY ON Processing in progress SECTION 7 1.
