This
“Assign
to
Network”
wizard
that
appears
is
quite
simple.
At
the
left‐hand
side,
the
different
virtual
resources
that
have
been
previously
selected
with
the
Selection
or
Marquee
tool
are
shown.
One
of
the
resources
listed
is
selected
and
its
properties
are
shown
in
the
wizard.
To
select
the
network
where
the
resources
will
be
subleased,
there
is
a
combo
box
that
lists
all
the
available
networks.
It
is
possible
to
select
one
of
these,
or
to
create
a
new
network
by
clicking
the
button
“New
Network”.
Once
the
new
Slice
has
been
created,
it
will
appear
also
in
the
slices
combo
boxes.

Network
Editor
Guide
The
Network
Editor
is
the
part
of
the
FEDERICA
Slice
Tool
that
lets
the
researcher
(or
end
user)
manage
his/her
virtual
slice
by
performing
some
configurations.
Using
this
editor,
the
end
user
can
set
static
IPs
and
routes,
configure
OSPF
and
BGP,
turn
on
a
VM
and
see
the
topology
of
his
slice
and
perform
synchronization
of
the
Virtual
Nodes
if
needed.

Editor
Tour
This
section
will
give
an
overview
of
the
IP
network
editor
and
its
functionalities.
Graphical
Editor
The
Graphical
Editor
allows
the
user
to
graphically
represent
and
edit
a
network.
In
this
editor,
it
is
possible
to
change
the
background
map
and
different
objects
in
the
view.
