SYMPTOMS
CAUSE/ACTION
• Check if the reception mode is set at
"MANUAL RCV".
• Check if recording paper is run out and
memory is full.
• Install recording paper.
• Delete messages.
• Print out documents.

A black square mark
appears on the top
right corner of the
recorded paper.
• It is printed for checking the print
quality.
• You can change to not print it by the
setting of #07 in the FAX SETTING.

Blank paper
Remove the tape on the Ink Cartridge
when you replace the Ink Cartridge with
a new one.

Recording paper
Cannot be printed.
Check if the paper is recommended for
use.

Printing
Faint
• Check if the paper is recommended for
use.
• Check if the Ink Cartridge is
recommended for use.
• Check if the documents are written
faintly.
• Check with the transceiver.
• Ensure documents are distinctly
written.
• Adjust "Scanning Contrast".

Delay in printing.
Trouble in faxing or telephone line is not
working.

The apparatus does
not operate at all.
• When you encounter malfunctioning,
please disconnect the power supply
plug and connect it once again.
• The operation should be normalised.
• However, should the malfunctioning
persist, please follow the procedure
below (it initialises the operation).
