Using the integrated messenger
By default, when you login the integrated messenger is automatically started.
You will notice in the CohereMail menu a button that reads "Loading...",
"Connecting...", and finally "Messenger".
Click on that button to open the messenger.
If the messenger is connected, you will see a list of all the users that are online at
the moment. You can start chatting with them straight away!
Note the icon that appears next to each user's name. It indicates the status of the
user.
These are the possible status icons for an user:
available
away
extended away (away for a longer time)
do not disturb
To start a chat with an user: simply double-click on his/her name. You can have
multiple chats open at the same time. Note: if you are connecting through a
corporate firewall, your chat could be less responsive than usual. Ask your
Administrator for details.
