Chapter 6 3. Using dry cotton cloths, wipe the metal register roller in the transfer unit and the rubber register roller in the inner section of the printer. Then, wipe the transfer roller in the top section of the transfer unit (fig. 6.18). Rotate this roller to clean all sides with the cloth to remove paper dust, toner buildup, and other debris.
